Bruce Fraser

With over 20 years experience in law in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch Bruce joined Fletcher Vautier Moore in 2003 and became a Partner, based at the Nelson Office, in 2004.

Bruce has a wide range of experience spanning litigation to commercial, company, conveyancing and fisheries/maritime law. This has seen Bruce acting for numerous corporate and commercial clients and has involved him in a diverse range of activities from national inquiries to submissions to Parliament to business sale and acquisitions. Current areas of practice include:

• Fisheries and maritime


• Business sales and acquisitions


• Business structuring including company, joint ventures and partnerships


• Commercial property sales, purchases and leasing and Overseas Investment Office applications


• Commercial and residential financing including mortgages and general security agreements


• Residential sales and purchases and residential tenancies


• Incorporated societies


• Wills claims including Family Protection Act

Bruce has been a long serving member of the National Heart Foundation and was Chair of the National Board 2001-2007. He is currently a director of Mortgage Fund Managers Limited.
