Jock Sutherland is known for his practical approach to problem solving.
It was his many holidays in Nelson that attracted this Cantabrian back to the place he had spent memorable summers, joining Fletcher Vautier Moore in 1974.
A member of the Commercial Team, Jock embraces the challenge of dealing with people from all areas of business, from sole traders to national companies, and is a familiar name and face in the local commercial scene. He also works extensively in property law, asset protection, estate planning and trusts.
His business acumen has led to his appointment to the boards of private companies.
Jock is also something of a legend in sporting circles. A keen cricketer, he has served as a member of the NZ Cricket Board and Central Districts Association and as President of the Nelson Jockey Club as an adjunct to breeding and racing horses.
